Devil's Due rose to prominence in the comic book world as comics were rising in prominence in Hollywood. This opened many doors to producers, directors, talent agencies and musicians (as well as its fair share of real life characters with personalities to rival those in the pages of our books). 

The original Devil's Due Publishing's first deal was with producers Daniel Alter and Adrian Askarieh, and with then Universal Studio's Rogue Pictures for the comic book Hack/Slash.
