WHITNEY COOK is a self-taught, professional freelance artist currently residing in Florida where she spends most of her free time spoiling her cat, drawing, reading, and collecting comic books (her collection being Wolverine-saturated.)

Whitney does not remember being able to draw the first moment she grasped a crayon, like many artists claim. Rather, she had an “Aha!” moment—or more accurately a “Holy crap, I can draw!” moment—during high school, which is when things got much more colorful and creative for the artist. She has worked for multiple comic book companies as a colorist, and often takes personalized commissions from fans on the side.
