LORD OF GORE
Writer: D.B. Stanley
Artist: Dan Leister

Murder, conspiracy, slashers, and the industry behind it all! After Lord of Gore's golden years in the early '80s, its sequels later in the decade BOMBED. Soon after things took a bizarre twist when the actor behind the film's star slasher, the Headsman, murdered a young actress in ways worse than his on-screen character. Thanks to an unscrupulous producer, a media frenzy was born, and the franchise lived again.  Now on the cusp of a modern reboot, a struggling screenwriter learns that the deranged star wasn’t the only guilty party that night, but before he can share the information, the Headsman seems to have stepped from the screen into real life to stop him.
