HOW TO SELF PUBLISH COMICS
Writers: Josh Blaylock, Tim Seeley

Josh Blaylock's now classic How-To prose book about the business of comics publishing, after selling out of its updated 2012 edition, is now being re-released to include Tim Seeley's companion writings on the behind-the-scenes realities of being a comic book artist, originally released in pamphlet form. This is NOT a graphic novel, and not about the creative process. There are a zillion books about those topics. This book is a ONE-OF-A-KIND insight into how comic book publishing works.

Josh Blaylock is a comic book writer and artist based in Chicago, IL, who has become a leading authority in helping creators identify and engage their fanbase to build hot new comic properties. He's famous for disrupting the industry and creating the '80s retro boom in comics a decade ago through a deal with Image Comics. Now with nealry 100 comic books published to date though the company he founded, Devil's Due Entertainment, Josh maintains his creative roots with the fantasy comic Mercy Sparx & the true story graphic novel Operation Nemesis. He specializes in a comprehensive approach to publishing that embraces both traditional store distribution with modern crowd funding and digital technologies in a way other publishers have yet to catch up with.

Tim Seeley is a comic book artist and writer known for his work on books such as Nightwing (DC Comics), G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, G.I. Joe vs. Transformers and New Exiles. He is also the co-creator of the Image Comics titles Hack/Slash and Revival. He has also contributed covers to Devil's Due series Lord of Gore and Mercy Sparx.
